In brief: We are a commercial cleaning company headquartered in North York, Toronto. We had supplied daily housekeeping teams and specialty cleaning to Sandman Hotel Group properties in the GTA, Ottawa and St. John’s, and has provided cleaning support to Holiday Inn hotels. That work includes staffing 10–15 housekeepers a day for room turnovers, plus laundry, deep cleaning and overnight support, all from one provider.
Who We’ve Worked For
Sandman Hotel Group. We have supported Sandman properties in three markets: the GTA, Ottawa and St. John’s. Where required, we have also supported locations elsewhere in Canada.
Holiday Inn. We have provided cleaning support for Holiday Inn hotels in active, fully operating hospitality environments.
The Challenge
A hotel’s cleaning workload is set by checkouts and check-ins every day, not by a fixed schedule. The Sandman Hotel Group and Holiday Inn properties we support needed a partner that could handle five things:
- Turn rooms over between checkout and arrival. A room that isn’t ready is a room that can’t be sold.
- Scale housekeeping headcount with occupancy. Busy days call for 10–15 housekeepers, which is more than many in-house teams can cover when staff call in sick or turn over.
- Keep linen moving. A room can’t be made up without clean sheets and towels, so laundry delays turn directly into room delays.
- Keep high-traffic areas presentable. Guests, luggage carts and staff wear down carpets, corridors, floors and glass, and these areas need periodic deep cleaning on top of daily housekeeping.
- Get work done without disturbing guests, and coordinate it across several cities without managing a different vendor in each one.
How MCA Group Solved It
1. Scalable daily housekeeping. We supplied housekeeping teams of up to 10–15 staff per day. Teams were sized to each property’s occupancy and room count, and they handled guest-room cleaning, bed and linen changes and room preparation for incoming guests.
2. Housekeeping and laundry under one program. We folded laundry support into the same program as housekeeping, so linen supply kept pace with room turnover.
3. Scheduled specialty cleaning. We added the following to the ongoing program or ran them as one-time projects:
- carpet steam cleaning for guest rooms, corridors and common areas
- floor cleaning
- window cleaning
- property-specific deep cleaning
4. Overnight coverage. We ran overnight cleaning for areas that are hard to reach during the day, when guest traffic is lower. Where required, we also provided overnight security support.
5. One provider across markets. We delivered the same service model to Sandman properties in Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador, so operators had a single point of contact instead of several local vendors.
The Results
Daily staffing at scale: Hotels had up to 10–15 housekeepers per day available to them, sized to each property’s needs.
Rooms ready for arrivals: Turnover, linen changes and room preparation were handled every day by one coordinated team.
Multi-city consistency: Sandman properties in the GTA, Ottawa and St. John’s were served under one provider.
One provider for everything: Daily housekeeping, laundry, specialty cleaning and overnight support came from one source, with no extra contractors to manage.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many housekeepers can MCA Group provide to a hotel? MCA Group has supplied approximately 10 to 15 housekeepers per day to hotel properties, including Sandman Hotel Group locations. Team size is set by room count, occupancy and the property’s staffing needs, so a single hotel in Toronto or a multi-property group can get coverage matched to daily demand rather than a fixed headcount.
Does MCA Group support hotels outside Toronto? Yes. MCA Group is headquartered in North York and serves the GTA and Ontario. For hotel clients, it has also supported Sandman Hotel Group properties in Ottawa and St. John’s, and other Canadian locations as required. Multi-property operators can use one provider across markets instead of hiring a separate cleaning contractor in each city.
Can MCA Group combine daily housekeeping with deep cleaning? Yes. MCA Group can run daily housekeeping, room turnover and laundry alongside scheduled specialty work in the same hotel program. Specialty work includes carpet steam cleaning, floor care, window cleaning and deep cleaning. Overnight cleaning is available for areas that are difficult to reach during busy daytime operations.
